Behind the Tin Sheets is a film based project, that started off in Bangalore as a response to the changing landscape of the city. The project uses video and other related media to engage with the questions of labour, migration and cities.

Birha is the fourth film, currently in production under Behind the Tin Sheets project. Derived from Punjabi Sufi poetry, Birha it reflects the waiting and lamentation caused by pangs of separation. Guided by this poetry, and friendships with migrant workers, the film follows the trails of separation from faraway villages to unknown cities. To know more, click here
